Breastfeeding Companion disassembly and assembly instructions

After cleaning, follow these steps to assemble your pump. Make sure all parts are completely dry from cleaning before any assembly
Begin by placing the white Valve into the bottom of the Connector with the wedge site pointing down.
Then secure the Collection Bottle to the Connector. Tightening the Collection Bottle firmly will seal the Valve but do not over tighten.
Install the Breastcup by pushing at the edges to secure to the Connector. Make sure the Breastcup is sealed all around.
To prepare the Cap, first take the Small Insert and push it onto the small ring on the underside of the Cap.
Take the Stem and insert it throught the Large Insert until it bottoms out.
The flat, round portion of the Stem should be flush with bottom of the Large Insert.
To complete the Cap, take the Stem and Large Insert assembly and push the head of the Stem through the Small Insert and through the top of the Cap.
Make sure the Large Insert is fixed to the large ring on the underside of the Cap. Aligning the Large Insert over the two small posts will orient it properly.
Take the Stem and pull up gently until the Small Insert snaps itself to the middle portion of the Stem.
Install the Cap assembly to the Connector assembly by pivoting the front latch to the Connector.
Then push down on the back portion to snap the tab on the Connector.
Install the Handle by catching the Stem in the slot of the Handle.
Then firmly push the Handle down to snap onto the post of the Connector.
Note: Make sure all parts are assembled correctly and snugly fit. The pump must be air tight to function properly.
